We shall visit the oldest pharmacy of Dr. Pel and his sons (*the tour is guided by a Museum employee; the entrance fee is included). Pel's pharmacy has been surrounded by mystical stories for centuries. The guide will tell you about the history of this chemist’s shop and you will see a collection of faience mortars in which pharmacists ground raw materials, bottles with special lapped lids for storing medicines, a device with a piston mechanism for sterile production of ampoules, a collection of pharmacy scales, a wax copy of Wilhelm Pel made fr om his photographs and a chair where Mendeleev liked to sit.

We shall make our cherished wishes at the Griffin tower. It was said that a portal to a parallel world was opened in the tower, from where griffins got to Petersburg having been invisible, but the locals could hear them. It was also said there was some bunker under the tower.

At the end of the tour, we shall visit a real bomb shelter from the times of the Great Patriotic War (WW2)!
